About the Offering
This is not just a yoga class: it’s a heartfelt pathway to what most people actually seek from yoga: peace and presence. Classes involve a mix of breath and meditation, somatic yoga movement practice, yoga nidra and sounds to soothe.
Peace and presence are actually very simple, ancient and readily available human experiences, but they often get lost in the noise these days – even (and sometimes especially) within the yoga world!
This class is not about fast and furious flows, hard physical postures, athleticism or a workout. It’s not about instagram, performance or aesthetics.
It’s about slowing down, listening, attuning to mind and body, regulating your system, touching into a deep experience of both tranquility and vitality, and feeling yoga from the inside out. Feeling stronger and more flexible are some fun perks!
Peace + Presence is about connection, community and the simple heart of yoga.

What to Bring
Please bring a yoga mat and any yoga props you like to use.
A blanket and optional cushion to be comfy during savasana, where there will often be yoga nidra practice and sound baths to close the session. Please be guided by weather!
A bottle of water
The Venue: St Martha’s Methodist Church, Chapel Street, Tring, HP23 6BP
Parking is available in the various Tring public carparks, and on-street in the neighbouring roads. Please allow ample time for parking so that you don’t have to rush.
